 "Talking Tech Sourcing” is a collaborative advisory group of IT Sourcing Professionals from global corporations who meet monthly via Teams. Participants share and seek advice from fellow procurement peers . Popular topics are digital transformation, software renewals, cloud optimization IT Spend management. We begin with 20 minutes of learning\skill development and then collaborate to solve actual challenges our members face.  We meet the first Thursday of every month at 12pm EST. Biography

Jamie Martino

Jamie serves as the SVP of Strategic Sourcing for IT Diversity, Host of Talking Tech Sourcing and Chair of the Lake Norman IT Professionals Leadership series. Martino is also a Senior Digital Transformation Consultant to Amazon and other major enterprises. He has been intimately involved in the launch of Internet related technologies, which have transformed the commercial economy. His early career included the deployment of 80 of the earliest fiber broadband networks and the launch of the first competitive switched voice service.  Jamie enhanced consumer choice and reduced the cost of high speed communications for businesses.

 As CEO of Last Mile Connections and Avotus Corporation, he designed sourcing software solutions, which disrupted an industry and enhanced leverage for buyers. As the Global Leader of IT Sourcing at Trane Technlogies, Ingersol Rand and Aryaka, he managed over $300M in IT Spend and achieved record results for Savings, Digital Transformation and Employee Engagement. As the Global Leader for Access Management at Global Crossing, he managed a $2.8 billion P&L and achieved savings of over $225M.

Jamie is the Global Technology Chapter leader for Procurement Foundry's 7,000 Buyers. He is Chair of the Lake Norman IT Professionals leadership series and Host of the popular collaboration program "Talking Tech Sourcing". His professional network spans over 10,000 leaders within IT and Procurement. He is a regular conference speaker.
